Before you can pass your Practical Driving Test, you must take and pass your Theory and Hazard Perception Tests.
You will need a valid Provisional Driving Licence in order to take your Theory Test and Hazard Perception Test and you can book your test online at www.gov.uk
You DO NOT however, need to have passed your Theory & Hazard Perception Test, before taking driving lessons with Mk1 Driving School. You DO have to wait at least 3 clear working days before taking your test again if you don’t pass, so it is important to get it right FIRST TIME.

Immediately after your Theory Test, you’ll watch a series of 14 one minute video clips, each showing potential hazards involving road condition pedestrians or road users. There are 15 hazards in the test to identify.
You can score up to 5 points on each video clip (this depends on how quickly you identify the hazards). You need to score 44 out of 75 to pass.
